I’m super curious how my collueges in Herbalife always are able to get these awesome photos of themselves while they’re working out. I don’t seem to have paparazzi following me the way they do. That being said, my workouts have been small and effective recently, but nothing so wild to write home about.
I have begun doing the 24Fit program which I am excited about. It is as hard as you make it, and I am looking forward to creating a better body and more strength and balance for roller derby through its program. I am really excited to recommend the DVDs for people who have a fear of the gym or haven’t worked out in so long that they need something really progressive to ease them into working out. It’s nice for me because I have been so overloaded with school, building a client base, working with clients, improving myself, derby, etc that getting to the gym has been very difficult.

I have gotten to attend a few Fit Box classes at Max Fitness on 6th Street, and those always kick my butt. It’s great getting to take my aggression out in a circuit training that involves ropes, punching, kicking and squats. The other huge news?
I’M ALL IN ON CONTACT AND SCRIMMAGING!
Ever since figuring out that I have a knee cap tracking issue, I have been able to tape my knee in such a way that I can skate normally again, and often without any pain!

I have refocused on my nutrition – very difficult when tight on funds. As I build my coaching business (which I have the best clients and coaches on my team PS), I am learning so much about myself and how my boyfriend and I consume food and things. In the last few weeks, I have undergone a huge change in my mindset and approach to food, health, friendship, confrontation and life.
I have taken steps to eliminate complaining! It’s harder to do than I thought. It’s so easy to get caught in your own negative thoughts. You cannot believe them! They will suck you in and eat you alive. I am done sending the universe mixed messages. I have done a lot of personal development, been doing a class called The Next Level and got to go to January Spectacular. It all changed my perspective on the energy I’m sending out.
I don’t want any negativity! I don’t want anything to hold me back. Yes, it’s ok to be sad. It’s ok to feel overwhelmed, but I trust myself enough now to know that I will find a way to rise above and conquer all the issues that come against me.
The challenges in roller derby and athletics increase daily. My physical fitness is good, but I know it could be better! I’m hoping to find local people that want to go on the journey with me. I’m hoping to find some people that share my enthusiasm and passion for health, wellness, nutrition, fitness and helping other people feel as awesome and positive.
So… There is a trip to Palm Springs that is in May. Qualification is through April. On the career side that would be a heck of a graduation present for myself! I am stretching and running and working and building to achieve my dreams. I love this job. I love what I do. Now, I just need to find some more people who want to work with me and get in the most amazing shape of their life and feel better than ever before!!
Now…. More push-ups! More planks! More sprints! More work! Let’s get it!!
